My Exclusive Interview with Jeff Fahey + Finale Updates
As you know, this is a strictly spoiler-free site. For that reason, I just posted my exclusive interview with Jeff Fahey on Doc's site. Click here to read at your own risk, as he addresses the fate and future of Frank Lapidus.
I am offline for the rest of the day to avoid additional spoilers, and will not be reading anyone's wall/updates/tweets until after I've seen the finale here on the West Coast. But I will be posting updates from Jay and Jack's big finale party on Twitter and Facebook if you'd like to follow along. From 5pm-7pm PST tonight, I will be on stage moderating a panel with some of the cast, including Sterling Beaumon (young Ben), L. Scott Caldwell (Rose), Andrea Gabriel (Nadia), Neil Hopkins (Liam Pace), Eric Lange (Radzinsky) and more!
In the interest of time, I will also announce the winner of the DVD contest tomorrow.
Enjoy the finale and experience my friends. And thank you for sharing the roller coaster ride with me.

LOST Live: My Sentimental Perspective & Spoiler-Free Preview of Episode 6.16
I am still recovering from last night's emotional journey and experience at Lost Live: The Final Celebration, but wrote about it from a personal perspective over on DocArzt. I also provide a very brief and spoiler-free preview of the penultimate episode, which airs on Tuesday. Here is the link if you're interested!
[custom Dharma Water, handed out after the event!]
I absolutely loved seeing fellow fans, friends, cast and crew at this event, and it was great to meet people in person whom I'd only known virtually from the vast online Lost community. If we did not get a chance to meet or say hello, I apologize; it was hectic and overwhelming, but in the best possible way. And if I did not hand you a Lost Fan pin, send me an email with your address and I will ship one to you!
Yesterday was also an amazing day because of the front-page story about Lost in USA Today (How America Got Lost). I was interviewed for it a few weeks ago, and it is quite a treat to not only have the story in print - but to be quoted in the same article with Damon, Carlton, Daniel, Jorge and Terry.
I am still in Los Angeles for the Lost Weekend fan party and charity auction, and will post both a recap and videos/photos from interviews with some of the cast on Sunday and Monday.
Have a great weekend!

LOST S6 Premiere on the Beach in Oahu! I. Am. There.
(photos from previous premiere courtesy of the Honolulu Star Bulletin)
Seasons greetings, Lost friends and fellow fans! I hope that you're all enjoying some time off with your families and friends during the holidays.
I have some pretty exciting news - as a Christmas/early birthday gift (1/5), my partner used miles to get us tickets to Oahu for 3 days at the end of January...we will be attending the Lost Season 6 premiere on the beach on January 30, 2010!! For the last two weeks, it has been all I've been talking and dreaming about, and my heart is already racing as I contemplate just how amazing the experience will be. She knows and appreciates that I have spent the last several years writing extensively about the show, and that this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that we could not pass up. And that is why she is indeed my better half.
I will be providing on location, spoiler-free coverage for DocArzt's site (he is tentatively attending as well!), so you can follow along on TVovermind and our Twitter feeds (@jopinionated and @DocArzt). And of course I will provide links to all posts here.
According to Doc, they may only show the FIRST hour of episode 6.01 ("LA X") at the Sunset On The Beach event. Frankly, I am thrilled either way. Given my completely spoiler-free policy, I will not be providing any details about what they screen for us. The actual experience will be the focus of my coverage.
In addition to the event itself, I look forward to seeing Jen and Ryan from The Transmission, and hopefully Jay and Jack and countless other Lost podcasters, bloggers and fans!
So let me know if YOU or anyone you know is also going to be there, and we will definitely set up a time and place to meet on the beach ! I will have Lost Fan pins for everyone, and look forward to kicking off the final season in the most spectacular fashion imaginable.
By the way - my next Lost Rewatch post should be up soon, and I appreciate your patience.
Happy holidays to you and yours!

LOST Weekend 09, Day 1

Last night they kicked off the weekend with a cocktail party here at the Universal City Hilton, accompanied by a raffle ticket auction for various Lost items. I won a Lost license plate frame and baseball cap, as well as an Eko action figure!
I also picked up two bags full of Lost t-shirts, Dharma bags, soundtrack CDs, etc. for future blog contest giveaways, so stay tuned for your chance to win here and on DocArzt's site! Proceeds from the sale of the raffle tickets and these items all benefit the CDF, so we were more than happy to grab them up!

We took turns channeling our inner Hostile, shooting arrows at him (although they were not flaming like the ones that took out poor Frogurt).

Tonight is the main event - the auction! I will be repeating "stick to your budget" repeatedly to myself this evening, as it will be challenging not to bid on all of the fantastic Lost items up for grabs. There will be a few surprises in addition to the autographed scripts and tees, as well as potential guest appearances by some of the cast and crew...I will keep you posted via Twitter!
After I return home tomorrow night, I will post a full recap of Day 2 and the auction. Enjoy the rest of your weekend! It looks like I'll be checking in an additional bag for the flight...I'm off to find a duffel to hold all of my new swag...:)

Scott or Steve? An Interview w/Dustin Watchman

I had the opportunity to connect with LOST 'red shirt' Dustin Watchman, who has played background character Scott Jackson for four seasons now, and he was kind enough to answer a few questions!
The interview is now posted here on Doc's site.
Thanks for reading!

Prison Break: Bentham's Panopticon as the Island
I am very excited to announce that I am now a contributor on the great DocArzt and Friends' Lost Blog. I will be posting original content there on occasion, separately from this site.
Here is my first entry, an exploration of the real Bentham's prison system as it relates to Lost: Jeremy Bentham, the Panopticon and the Island.
