One Year Later: Reflections on the LOST Series Finale
When the Washington Post asked me what I would change about the LOST series finale, only one aspect came to mind (and my opinion has not changed since The End). You can read about it here, along with responses from Damon Lindelof, Jeff Jensen, DocArzt and others!
I was also honored to have been interviewed by MTV, along with fellow Lost analysts Erika O (LongLiveLocke) and Anil K (The ODI), as we addressed our thoughts about the series finale one year later! Below is the video, and here is the entire article.
If you're interested to read my initial analysis of the finale after it first aired last year, here is part 1 and part 2.
Don't forget to join us for a live LOST chat tonight! You can participate on this site or on DocArzt's site at 6pm PST/9pm EST, and further details are in the post above this one.

LOST S6 Premiere Weekend: Details & Photos (Updated)
I posted a few hi-res photos from the Lost S6 beach premiere on TVovermind, and wanted to share a few quick thoughts with you before leaving the island this afternoon. UPDATE: here are additional photos from the red carpet.
As most of you know, I have been covering Lost for several years in great detail. So without question, this has been the most incredible and rewarding weekend of my entire life.
CAST and CREW MIXER
On Friday, I attended a small, private press party with the cast and crew. After briefly meeting executive producers/writers Damon, Carlton, Adam H and Eddie K, Nestor Carbonell, Daniel Dae Kim and Yunjin Kim, I had the opportunity to chat at greater length with Michael Emerson, Jeff Fahey, Harold Perrineau, Zuleikha Robinson and executive producer/writer Liz Sarnoff.
FAN MEET-UP
A short time later, I hosted a fan meet-up with special guest Erika Olson (LongLiveLocke). Not only was it a thrill to meet over 120 fellow Lost fans, bloggers and podcasters from around the world - Jeff Fahey made a guest appearance! I had mentioned the party to him an hour earlier, but was very pleasantly surprised when he showed up. Fahey is a good sport and fan favorite; he was absolutely mobbed but kind enough to pose for photos with almost every person there.
PRIVATE SET VISIT
On Saturday morning, I was invited to a private set visit with a small group of press. Although we are contractually obligated to remain mum about what we saw in the various filming locations, I do have permission to post a few photos after the S6 premiere on Tuesday night.
RED CARPET
Late Saturday afternoon, I was on the red carpet before the screening and interviewed Michael Emerson, Josh Holloway, Daniel Dae Kim, Yunjin Kim, Evangeline Lilly, Harold Perrineau and Zuleikha Robinson (who totally won me over in person and quickly became a new favorite)! Audio of those interviews will be posted over the next few days, but I have to admit that one of the best moments from that experience was how Lilly reacted to and then answered my question...
SEASON 6, EPISODE 1, HOUR 1
As most of you know, this site is strictly spoiler-free, so I will not reveal any details about the first hour of episode 6.01. All you need to know is that your patience will be rewarded. I laughed, cried (3 times), and was genuinely astonished by several scenes.
I HAVE TO GO BACK (HOME)!
Stay tuned for more details and photos over the next few days, as well as episode analysis of 6.01 on Wednesday morning. And thank you so much for all of your comments on Facebook and Twitter!

FYI: Facebook Deleted Me (Updated)
UPDATE: Facebook deleted my profile because I also had a Jeremy Bentham page, which violates their terms of service. I also had to prove that I was a real person; thus, you will now see my last name. They gave me a choice to keep one or the other, and obviously I told them to delete Bentham's profile. To be honest, I am pleasantly surprised that it took less than 24 hours to get my profile reinstated, given that there are 200 million FB users and I was not the only one with that issue yesterday. And I must thank all of YOU for your amazing support! Word spread like wild fire, and both Hillary P and Erika O were instrumental in this process. Huge kudos to the online Lost community for this victory. :)
Original Post
Since I am unable to reach most of my regular Lost readers now, I wanted to alert you to the fact that Facebook deleted my everyday Jo JOpinionated profile without notice or reason.
Remember when Smokey was unleashed and went after Keamy's mercenaries like a locomotive on a mission? That blind rage is exactly what I feel right now.
This started out as a fantastic day, because Jeff Jensen mentioned my Looking Glass theory in an Entertainment Weekly article. Right after I emailed him a thank you note, Facebook inexplicably deleted my existence.
If you are so inclined, I would love some assistance notifying the 1,300 friends I had on Facebook; perhaps post a link to this or mention it in status updates? No pressure. Any help would be appreciated.
I will be fighting this with every ounce of energy in my soul, and will keep you posted.
-Jo
p.s. In the meantime, I will update the situation on Twitter if you're interested.

LOST Producers Peeved
The recent Writers Strike was a wake-up call to the archaic Nielsen ratings system; an indication that online views and digital downloads need to be counted and added to traditional television ratings. We all know that Lost's weekly ratings would be tremendously higher if the folks in charge at Nielsen would simply monitor the number of purchases on iTunes and views on ABC.com.
Click here to watch Carlton Cuse, co-executive producer of Lost, briefly address this very topic.
Don't worry, there are absolutely no spoilers contained in this video. There are, however, an alarming number of spoilers about the upcoming episodes all over the Internet, and I am doing my best to avoid them all!
Have a great weekend.
