To Follow All Lost-Related ARGS...

I do not have as much time as I'd like to follow and analyze all three of the current Lost-related alternate reality games and experiences. But if you are interested in any or all of them, please visit my friends at the fabulous LostARGS site, as they are extensively covering all activities and news stemming from:

Who Wrote Find815?

Thanks to my new blog friend Annie in MN for asking about Find815...because it brought out my inner conspiracy theorist.

I admit it, I am more than skeptical about who is behind Find815. It may appear that the site was unveiled to build fervor for and coincide with the new season of Lost, but I wonder if it was created and written by the actual producers and writers from the show, or even with their consent/blessing. Is Find815 an ABC network creation, or an official piece of the Lost puzzle?

Many of you might be saying, "I don't care." Perhaps this seems like a trivial inquiry, but I am interested because I prefer to support projects which have been created and/or sanctioned by the official writing staff of our favorite show. And as you know, they've been a little busy, and a little unemployed for a few months now. Which makes it highly unlikely that Find815 was their baby.

I know that most of you are disgruntled with the lack of new programming and very happy to have Lost back on the air, at least temporarily. But it is important to remember the big picture, and why the writers are on strike. Here is my position on the matter.

If you have any information about who is responsible for Find815,
please enlighten us!

See you on Thursday, if not sooner.

Oceanic Commercial & Find815

I've been having fun following but haven't had time to keep up with Find815.

Here is the Oceanic commercial that ties into that site, which aired last night during Eli Stone.

Oh, and look what was spotted near LAX recently...which is where Jack and Kate met up in the first flash forward.

The people who are responsible for this show and the marketing of it continue to successfully blur the line between fiction and reality by strategically planting large Lost-related visuals in cities across the country (which specifically tie into the flashbacks and flash forwards of the main characters). It never ends, and that's just fine with me.

Introducing: The Oceanic 6

Add this Lost billboard to the many clues that the lovely folks in charge of ABC's viral marketing department have been displaying in various cities in anticipation of next week's Season 4 premiere.

This particular billboard is in the aptly located Tallahassee. Let's review the significance of this Florida city to our favorite show:

1. When we first saw the Marshall capturing Kate, she was at a bus station buying a ticket...to Tallahassee.

2. Sawyer mentioned to Jack that he got a disease in...Tallahassee.

3. Before he wound up in mysterious box on the island, Locke's dad (a.k.a. the real Sawyer) crashed his car...in Tallahassee.

4. Juliet earned a degree in Biology from FSU...in Tallahassee.

And then there is the message on the billboard. Who the hell are the Oceanic 6? Does that refer to six of the survivors? Six new characters? By the way, in the new Lost promo, there is also a number 6 reflected in the water.

Thanks to my friend over at Cinematically Correct for bringing yet another piece of the Lost puzzle to my attention!
