LOST in NYC: The East Coast Meet-Up!

Hello, LOST friends! I have neglected this site for far too long. But I will continue to post related news and updates here (and occasional pop culture/television thoughts on Tumblr). 

START SPREADING THE NEWS...


Los Angeles. Honolulu. And now New York! I am very excited to announce my very first East Coast LOST fan meet-up. The enthusiasm for the show has continued on long after the series has ended, and the community remains quite strong. So I decided to reserve a venue in NYC to meet fellow fans on the opposite coast for the first time while we're there on vacation.

I will be giving away LOST swag during a trivia contest. This meet-up is open to all LOST fans, and I all ask is that you please RSVP either below in the comments section or via Facebook so that I can keep the venue updated.

Professor Thom's is one of the most famous LOST-friendly bars in the country, having hosted many LOST nights throughout the years.  They also hosted the Lost-a-Thon before the finale, which was covered by Good Morning America! And because they have their own Dharma logo and The Numbers are painted above the bar, it is a logical location to host the get-together.

LOST S6 Premiere Meet-Up in Waikiki! (UPDATED)

As most you know, I am headed to Honolulu this week to attend the Lost Season 6 "Sunset on the Beach" Premiere on Saturday (1/30). Because there are so many fellow Lost fans and bloggers/podcasters who are also going to be there just for the occasion, I decided to host a Meet-Up on the eve of the screening.

Please join me, along with special guest Erika ('e') from LongLiveLocke, on Friday (1/29) from 8pm-11pm; I have reserved the Upper Ewa patio of RumFire at the Sheraton Waikiki.  

$5 LOST Cocktail

You're on your own for food and beverage, but they have created a special $5 Juliet On The Beach drink just for us! Yes, I named it after my favorite character, and yes - I prefer to remember her in happier times on the island. Kudos to my friend Denise for also suggesting an appropriate yet distressing drink called Juliet Down the Hatch. Clearly I could not choose that one. :)

Be among the first 100 people to arrive and participate in a trivia contest at the Meet-Up for a chance to win a commemorative LOST tote bag! And, of course, everyone who attends will receive a custom Lost Fan pin.
